Dana Smoot:
Groomsman
I am best
friends with Chad O'Reilly and I have known Colin since he was eleven years old. The O'Reilly’s have always
been like a second family to me as I am like another son to Mike and Diana and a brother to their sons.
As Colin got older, he and I began to hang out more often, playing sports and video games. Subsequently, our
relationship matured to a brotherly bond. I am so happy for Colin and Alexis!
Everyone deserves
to have someone special in his or her life who makes him or her want to succeed and is there when times
make one weary. Alexis and Colin, consider yourselves very blessed. Colin, you know that I love you and that I
am always in your corner, no matter what. You have always been the type of person who never let anyone tell him
that he could not achieve something... never lose that drive. It is rare to find a woman who can love
you for who you are and is as smart and beautiful as Alexis, so never take her for granted and always give her what she needs
and wants.
I attended
Tennessee State on a track scholarship, and later graduated from The Ohio State University Law School, where I met my
beautiful wife, Jayme. I am currently working for Smoot Construction in Columbus, Ohio.
Brendon Sher: Groomsman
Brendon “The Jewish Jet “
Sher and Colin “The Irish Icon” O’Reilly became friends through the Track and Field Team at Bexley High
School. They became training partners and best friends. Colin attributes his staying out of trouble as a youngster, to the
positive time spent with Brendon. Brendon’s family treated Colin as one of their own and included him in a number of
family vacations. Brendon is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and now resides in Los Angeles working in TV and Film.
Josh Hayes: Groomsman
Josh is a computer programmer
in Columbus
and a graduate of DeVry University.
Colin and Josh were introduced by their older brothers who were friends and teammates.
Josh has been like a brother to the family ever since, and has always been there for Colin. One of Colin's fondest
memories is of Josh coming to his home every day and playing videos games with him when he was bedridden with a broken
vertebrae in high school. He is the true definition of a friend!
Brian Haas' Groomsman:
Brian and Colin met in middle school, he only new Colin before as “the fastest white kid he had ever seen”
through sports at the recreation department. They became great friends and have been ever since. Brian has always been very
supportive of Colin and has traveled as far as Carbondale, Illinois to see him play football. Brian graduated from Kansas
University and currently lives in Chicago where he works for Enterprise rental car.
Curtis Jones: Groomsman
I met Colin O in Carbondale, Illinois in 2001, when we had to go through this grueling punishment called "football
camp". I didn't really know him well right away, but we began to kick it on weekends and became good friends. We spent countless
hours in the training room together and so our friendship became even stronger. Everything else is history...Homeboys
for life!!!!!
Burell "BJ" Charity: Groomsman
I met Alexis when I was born. She was two years older than me... so she was always around. I believe the earliest memories
I have of Colin are from my freshman year of high school, playing football. Colin was a junior, the starting runningback for
Bexley, and a straight up baller. He was awesome. I am currently a senior at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio preparing for a
career as a social studies teacher and eventually, a principal. I'm looking forward to Alexis and Colin's marriage
in July and having Colin for my brother-in-law.
Brian Moriarty: Groomsman
I went to Ohio Dominican University where I earned a BS in Business Administration. I am living in Bexley and I work
at Client Services, Citi Hedge Fund Services North America, Inc. Colin and
I met via football as youngsters and we have been best friends
ever since!!

since they met in kindergarten, Doug ranks as Colin’s oldest friend. They played pee-wee football together for the
Eastland Vikings where their families became acquainted. Colin and Doug were
captains together for the Bexley Middle School football team and Alexis was their cheerleader! Although they went their separate
ways from there, Colin and Doug have remained friends. Doug graduated from Denison University and is currently teaching
in the Columbus area.

Cameron Charles O'Reilly: Best Man.
I am the youngest brother in the family, Cameron.
People envy the relationship
Colin,
Chad and I have with each other. The love and trust we have
with each other is echoed by how we have maintained such close friendships with one another throughout our lives. As the youngest,
I may have had it the easiest from the parents, but the brotherly beatings were twice as severe. Needless to say, Colin and
Chad shaped me into who I am today, and
I am grateful for everything they have done for me. Colin, being closer in age, has provided me with friendship throughout
my entire life. We shared a bedroom for most of our young lives, and he never complained once about me bumping my head all
through the night. Since then, Colin and I have shared the same interests in virtually everything: from sports to music to
Kelly Kapowski to extreme sledding with and Erf-live. Colin has always been there whether I needed a ride to Super Saturday
or someone to work out with. After living with Colin and Alexis this past summer, I realized how truly happy they are together.
Add the fact that he is willing to abandon his sloppy ways and is actually
able to maintain a clean apartment, and you’ve got a match made in heaven. Thanks so much for everything you have done
for me and I love you.
I
graduated from Bexley High School in 2004, and I now attend Bucknell University where I played slotback for the
Bison football team. I will graduate on May 18th with a business management degree.
Chad O'Reilly: Best Man
I am Colin's older brother, Chad. If I had to use one word to describe my relationshp with Colin, it would be "loyal." Two
distinct memories come to mind.First...When we were kids, we loved to play in the sandbox.
One time, after I built a sand castle, Colin knocked it down. Needless to say, I was very upset, so I pushed Colin and
he cut his forehead on the sandbox. Realizing what I had done, I tried to calm him down before we went inside to tell
mom. We headed to the ER as Colin needed stitches. So I wouldn't get into trouble, I asked Colin not to tell on
me. He never told. In the end, I ended up feeling guilty and confessed, but Colin remained loyal.
Second... Often, Colin and I played one on one tackle football in the front yard. Being four years older and much
bigger, I had to talk him into it each time. Colin always gave in because he knew it would make me happy. You
would think with the age and size difference that I would go easy on him. No way, but he still played. Each time
we played, Colin would get hurt because I was too rough on him. In the hundreds of times we played, he never told on
me. I always like to joke that he was such a good running back because of those one on one games. Even with the
age difference, he held his own and often scored on me. I could go on and on with more stories, but I think you get the idea. I sure have enjoyed watching Colin grow up. I'm so proud of what he has accomplished and envious
of the risks he is willing to take in life. When Colin is around Alexis, he is happiest.
We all want what is best for the ones we love. Because of the way Alexis makes my brother feel, I love her. She
fits in so well with our family. Congratulations, you two!
I attended
Miami University (Oxford, OH) on a football scholarship and graduated with a degree in business finance. It was
there where I met my lovely wife, Jen. I currently work for Novartis Pharmaceuticals in Cleveland.
